Hello! heheh i was struggling during my exam and couldn't update anything here, but actually now i have more than 3 stocks of review!

BITS&BOBS Eatery!

Some of you may don't know, because this one is not that familiar like my previous posts, but the taste is.. reaaally no joke.
what makes me curious was the Green Tea Larva Cake. i've tried for a couple times the Chocolate Larva Cake at the other places, but it was my first time trial for a larva cake that popped in mind as 'something melted' and 'something warm', but tasted Green Tea.
Yes, you can say it might be because the Green Tea has reached its highest level of satisfaction, people are searching for everything matcha-s, and deeply in love with them, and even when i wasn't Matcha person, i should admit that this kind was captivated my eyes -a-bit ;)

First, the location is pretty.... good but bad. Good because Foundry8 is happening and well-known right now, but bad because of the traffic, but good to know, that there's such a good meal beyond the traffic.

A design and decoration was also good. I love how they placed their name and how they make it feel classy and warm.

When i first arrived, the waitress gave me a menu and its was something that caught my eyes.

For me, expressing thoughts through the words are such a good thing, i could feel the emotion while i read this at the top page of their menu. So, if you respect the creativity, you'd better watch out my review down there:)

And they split the room into two dining areas, smoking and no smoking. It was a small thing that has a big concern, for me, because it shows that they do care.

Served with the Vanilla sauce and nuttiesh green tea ice cream, and it was really fresh from the oven (obviously seem from the super hot cake), and once it melted...

IT was a Green Tea sauce and it melted realllyy good, i was going to record when it was melted but (hehe) have been too excited :P

The ice cream fits perfectly with the warmth from the green tea larva, the only thing that concerned me was the taste is a little bit flat because they are all Matchas, i mean, if one of them (maybe the ice cream or the outlayer cake) was Vanilla or Chocolate, the taste would be mooore unforgettable. But overall, i love BITS&BOBS Eatery. So. Much.

A day at Koffie Warung Tinggi!

sorry for not posted anything these two weeks, but todaaaay, I will post something that happens to be hyped nowadays, something choco, something import-ish.
Guess what? yes, Martabak Koffie Warung Tinggi which sell Martabak Ovomaltine, Martabak Toblerone, Martabak Ferrero Rocher and maaaany more!

I happen to realize that Martabak Ovomaltine is going to be the Next Nutella. Whatever made of Ovomaltine has being trend and got the positive responds such as Nutella in 2013. And of course seeing that opportunity, restaurants and cafes are trying harder right now, to pack it as lovely as it could.

Before I start to review, I'd like to share about my knowledge about Ovomaltine and friends (could I say it to make it faster?) which are soooo tempting.

Ovomaltine's variant products

Ovomaltine was not a new brand, it was once only produced and consumed in Switzerland and even has been there for beyond the 80s! The real ones (at that time) was bitter and no sugar added. It was once popular because of its hot chocolate milk, but look, right now Ovomaltine even has its Ice Cream, and still on top, every aspects of it. That's why, Koffie Warung Tinggi chose Ovomaltine to be the main ingredient and now, has-never-been-lost-its-long-queue morning 'til night, awesome right?

I came to Martabak Koffie Tinggi at Grand Indonesia Shopping Town (mistakely) in a public holiday, and tadaaaaa, i have to wait more than 20minutes to finally arrived at the top cashier. They only have one cashier, one queue line, but seriously it was pretty long, and I've seen some people chose to quit the line and looking for something else (I was about too, honestly, but Thank God it was worth the end).

Basically, they sell a plain Martabak, so we have to buy it first to add the variant flavor we want, it was a little confusing at first, but through an explanation, I finally understand it.

I was confused because everything looks tasty, but finally I chose something hit, Martabak Ovomaltine!

to make it a little tempting, I chose to snap it half ;;)

And the other ones, (I searched it at google because mine was blurry), Martabak Ferrero Rocher!

Yes, they were THAT tempting and I don't have any idea to reject them (even when I know it contains fat), but it was worth all in the end, and the price is also worth. Here is the List of Price:

What i found great was the Martabak Bar that allows us to see the Martabak's making.

Luckily i snapped it right away and sneaked what they did down there, it was a pleasured to see how something that tasted good be made, and because it was freshly made, i was kind of appreciate it more.

Lasttt, come and visit them if you interested, they are open everyday at 10am - 10pm!

I'm back with a new dessert review.
This time, i'll write a review about a Korean Dessert Coffee Shop, yes it is.

Caffé Bene Lotte Shopping Avenue!

The main reason i picked it is actually because i was curious with their main menu, the Bingsu!
It has (recently) five variant flavors; Red Bean Bingsu, Strawberry Bingsu, Coffee Bingsu, Green Tea Bingsu, and their newest flavor, Cookies and Cream Bingsu. All of them are made of different toppings and ingredients, the base ingredients are same but the following are different, but note it, they are all zuper good!

When i was entered their shop, they were greeted me with a korean greeting such as 'Annyonghasaeo' and it was simply introducing their Korean based. and i was looking at this at my first arrival.

The Cashier was so nice, i've asked soooo many things because it was my first time trial, and he was kindly introduced their menu and the most favorite ones there.

And also, he was showed me these samples replica. yes, they are definitely so big! (He said it was actually for 3-4 persons)

He also said they are introducing their new menus all about Cookies and Cream right now, so i finally decided to choose Cookies and Cream Bingsu (which hasn't been added in the samples), because all my friends who have been here said that the green tea is the best seller, and i thought it must be tasty for sure so i don't have to try, and because it's a new variant flavor, that's why i was more curious to try it.

For the extra dessert, i choose my mom's favorite; Blueberry Cheese Waffle. the name was soooo tempting, and his explanation about this one was also promising, so i decided to try this one.

Not so long after i paid my orders, they were coming to my table.

My most awaited after all; the almighty Cookies and Cream Bingsu!

I should say that i was still shocked to see this, even after i saw the replica. it was bigger than your face, and it is, definitely served for 3-4 persons (while i was only with my mom). But surelyyyy, it tasted good! First it was plain, a bit. but you have to mix it until the ice blend with the cookies perfectly, and they gonna melted anyway, so it tasted like Oreo Milkshake (but a little bit rougher) and it was so good.

The ones who said the Green Tea Bingsu was the best seller should try this, because in my opinion it also tasted good:)

The second (and extra) dessert; Blueberry and Cheese Waffle!

No, it wasn't an ice cream, IT was a cheese. wholy-cheese.

and yes, it's a bit (or maybe too) salty. The blueberry was good, but maybe it should be more blueberry so the saltness would recover, but the waffle grilled perfectly and crunched. the rest is okay, the visual is also okay, besides the plate which looked too big for the small waffle. But, it actually wasn't bad, at all.

The place was so comfy, supported by the homey environment, and a library-alike concept, i really enjoyed my time there.

It was a pleasured time in Caffé Bene and i surely gonna come back sometime:)
